Pros
I have worked for both large (10,000+ employees) and small companies (less than 15 employees), and Reliance is a true gem in the tech industry If you are looking for a company that will value you as an employee, as an individual, and as someone who has things happen outside of work, then Reliance is who you want to work for. The work/life balance is really important to Reliance, and while there are things that happen outside of work hours (we are a tech company, so it's to be expected), they do not expect or demand extra-long days or working on weekends. They will work with you and your schedule. The office (when we're in the office) is a pleasant place to be, and employees are friendly. Snacks are provided, and when there isn't a pandemic there is usually happy hours and holiday pizza parties and potlucks. The work environment is relaxed, and the office is not open space, so you have your own area to personalize/make comfortable.
Cons
- Because of the location of the office, parking can be difficult depending on the time of day you arrive - if you start early, you should have no problems getting a spot, and it is free - Team building events outside of work are few - This is a small company, so the benefits are not as robust as you'd find at larger companies - Again, this is a small company, so career growth is limited, but you will be able to grow your current skill set and learn new things
