Pros
The people I work with generally seem like they really care and try to do the best job they can within the Regions culture. I have had several friends that have had family members come here after serious accidents or illness and they felt like they got excellent care.
Cons
Ineffective managers that are more interested in squeezing the last penny out of burnt out employees than actually managing (doesn't that involve people skills). The lowest common denominator is the measuring stick - many employees would be fired if actually held accountable to meet their job description. Those of us that do work hard are discouraged, non-listened-to, unrewarded, and when review time comes around - trivial things are used to point out that lack of perfection is going to keep salary increases to a minimum.
