Pros

In general, it is a fun and interesting place to work. It all depends on who works at your particular location. If you end up with irresponsible staff, motivating them will be near impossible. If you end up with irresponsible management, it makes caring about your work near impossible, and the effort required foor any kind of positive achievement not worth it. If you have a boss or bosses that are willing to support you and help you achieve, as well as help you deal with corporate level management in a productive way, you will not be unhappy.

Cons

The pay is not great. Unless you plan for this to be your career, there isn't much opportunity for advancement. You have to be patient and you can't let yourself get frustrated waiting for that promotion. Relocation is sometimes necessary. Communication between corporate and on-site management is sketchy at best. Corporate management creates goals that are sometimes unrealistic because they seem to be out of touch with the day-to-day operation. Again, if you are lucky enough to have corporate contacts that are eager to hear your input and help you, things will go much smoother. Sometimes your questions to the higher-ups get ignored instead of answered.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
