Great company that is changing real estate - Agent Redfin Employee Review

I've worked for big box retailers and other real estate brokerages where they talk about how great their culture is, but it's really nothing more than posters on a wall and clever catch phrases. That's not the case at Redfin. The majority of my co workers live, breath, and promote the culture of this company, and not in a corny or cheesy way - it just happens. One visit to Redferno, and meeting other agents, engineers, recruiters, etc from other parts of the country and you see and feel it. The growth opportunity is fantastic. Yes, starting as an agent and attempting to work your way up will require hard work, and you will need to prove yourself, but show me a company where that isn't the case. Work-life balance can be an issue, but it all depends on how far you want to go. As an agent, the more you work, the more you get paid. There is a bit of strategy involved, but it's not that difficult to stay really busy, and have family time as well. Learning how to time block and tweak your schedule is a must in order to stay sane during the busier months. The team approach is great! All agents play a role in helping the team's clients, whether they are assigned to you or not. It allows clients to move quickly in fast paced markets, and offers an unmatched experience. Full benefits for the entire family! Every full time employee gets benefits that are 100% paid by the company. Management is available and they listen/help with any concerns, but are not overbearing. You have the freedom to perform as you see fit, as long as you are operating within the loose guidelines that are set. The company treats everyone as what they are - real estate professionals and adults. I'm sure that the above list may vary a bit based on the market, and the people you work with. This is simply my experience in my area.
