Fun bosses. Obviously this will vary from store to store but rotas were sent well in advance so you could actually plan your life. My bosses at the time were very flexible around uni/sport etc. 12 days of Christmas sales incentives were good Could play with toys if things got boring Staff discount was 30%
Cons
Minimum wage, I worked there for over a year and never got a raise. We would all get told off for not reaching targets but we were never allowed to feedback into what a realistic target was, nor did we receive any incentives for reaching them (apart from during 12 days of Christmas). Even if you were recruited on a full time basis your contract was only for 5 hours per week. This offered little stability and meant you got rubbish holiday pay as it was calculated according to this. Menkind have changed this
