Pros

Red Hat, Mumbai requires change of HR people, that is the only positive.

Cons

HR being integral part of the company but HR at Red Hat, Mumbai office is like "O God where I have landed"...they come @ 11.00am then go for coffee, then chat about mother in laws for hours together then they go for lunch after lunch talk about children, then go for tea, then once they come back they check emails and then its time for bye...Red Hat senior management; is this the kind of HR you have hired? for prime location like Mumbai? Above all this, they feel they are the kings of Red Hat and they are very well suited for open source culture. No activities, No presence, not approachable even if some one tries they will give you dirty look. How can Red Hat hire these kind of people? Office boys work more then them..People who want to join Red Hat, Mumbai careful, You may not like to work with bunch of ......unless u don't care.

Pros

Extremely talented and motivated people Great product and ecosystem around Kubernetes

Cons

Bluewashing is real. After 4 years past acquisition it is not Open Decision company anymore. There is no clear communication about the direction where the company goes, some departments were moved to IBM without clear explanation why. Promotion process that was clear before is gone, and now your salary increase or promotion are directly depend on your relationship with the manager and not from your contribution to the team or the product.
