Pros
I found Red Foundry after being laid off from my former company (a large digital consultancy). I was slightly hesitant to join a small team, but I am so grateful I did! Red Foundry has been an amazing place to learn and grow as a junior designer. They trust their employees with many responsibilities and offer a path for growth I have not experienced elsewhere. The team is fully remote, but they manage to create a fun working environment that feels much more personable than I expected from a remote company. The company is highly involved in working with local tech community by supporting a program called i.c. Stars, among other things. Our involvement with i.c. Stars makes me feel proud to work for a company that goes the extra mile to help provide opportunities in the tech field to underserved communities. Our work ranges from working with large organizations to working with single entrepreneurs. The work is fun, fast-paced, and always different. The Red Foundry partners are some of the smartest and most creative team members I have ever had the chance to work with. I feel like I learn and grow in my skills every day with Red Foundry.
Cons
I haven't had the chance to meet all of my team members in person yet! Though, that is mostly due to the pandemic. I look forward to the day I get to see everyone in person!
