Good experience - Production Engineer Reach Robotics Employee Review

Great culture and team. Everyone is enthusiastic to work on cutting edge robotics and work through challenging problems.

(At time of review) the company is going through a turbulent period due to changes in management structure. The executive team from Reach's parent company (General Ocean) has failed to produce/communiate a long term business strategy. This has left the remaining managment in the Sydney office in a hard position to take action.

Flexible working hours. This was a really good point. The job was really good and team culture was perfect. Loved all aspects of working with hands-on robotics. Really good start for someone getting out of university or is looking at applying themselves.

Communication can be a bit of an issue. The company is going through the startup phase not necessarily because of products but the size of the teams is growing pretty quite. You can get lost in communication if you are not used to it since a lot of the paperwork needs updating.
