Pros
Fully remote position, company sometimes gives doordash credits,
Cons
The worst management I have ever experienced at any organization. Nearly all of them are rude and disrespect to all team members, with a few "good" ones you are lucky to work with. Also, many of the managers are not knowing what to do properly. If you have doubts, they will ask you to find the answer yourself or ask someone else usually. They try to fix this with useless initiatives to increase "team spirit" but never address the root problem of disrespect and rude behaviour. No bonus last year and they gave a poor excuse of "rebalancing salaries" but raises were lower than the inflation, or none at all. They are telling there is “unlimited vacation,” but system is showing 15 days only, and you are made to feel bad if you want to take leave, even for sickness. Work is very unorganized. Projects are not being planned well. Deadlines are made without proper estimation, and we are always being rushed. Many times, work is being done without full requirements, so teams are working long hours, and still final work is having issues or not finished properly. You will have no balance of work and life, and even on weekend you will wake up stressed because you are thinking you have to go to work today. As others already said, this is dead-end job because the technology is old, not user friendly, difficult to learn, and the code is internal only, so you are not gaining much to use in the future. My suggestion: if you still want to join, ask for at least 15 to 20 percent more salary than you expect. That is only way it might feel okay.
