      Raytheon is bringing on a lot of contracts, seems like there is good job security.

      Cons

      The merger with United Technologies has felt like a buyout. The corporate culture ot United is very difffernet than legacy Raytheon, and much more driven by politics.

      Pros

      9/80 and every 2nd Friday off, generous vacation time.

      Cons

      The company is 100+ years old and functions almost entirely on inertia. Senior Management is totally disconnected from the day to day, and it shows in the content of their "community" video meetings. They talk about diversity but have no interest in applying it. Most of the time they totally ignore the needs of their disabled employees.
