Pros

Pay checks arrive on time.

Cons

I joined in 2019 and have been there about a year. They will stiff you on salary and job grade if you don't have the right information, and they will lie about the right information. They have both job titles and job grades. The corporate recruiter told me that salary for G08/Senior Engineer I was 90-100k. That was a total lie. Know that job grade G08 (Senior ______ Engineer I) is what they offer to people fresh out of a PhD program with zero years of professional experience. Salary band for G08/Sr I is 75k-130k. Sr II = G09 Principal = G10 Sr Principal = G11 Job requisitions ask for about +2 years of experience for each increase in job grade. PhD ~ 6 years of experience. My previous job grade was also Senior, but at that company, that meant PhD + several years of experience and also a much higher salary. Benefits actually kind of suck. My portion of a doctor's visit fee for a regular yearly check up was over $100. My claim for glasses was denied by VSP even though per my optician, they cover portions of the options I selected. The famous flexibility that they brag about is entirely up to individual managers. Management does not live their values *at all*.

Pros

Good environment to learn entry level Cybersecurity within RMF. Tucson, AZ has a good training team/program. I came within RTX with another role and so far, the training and support is very helpful. Good work life balance. Opportunities for growth.

Cons

As always, the pay bands are very disproportionate; Its hard to evaluate pay ranges on average without coming to sites such as Glassdoor.

Pros

Great entry level company. You will learn a lot on the job. There is a lot of opportunity for career movement.

Cons

Slow-paced (could be a pro for some people) Lots of "red-tape" / paperwork Management is questionable. Couldn't land prime contracts and over committed on some proposals. This led to massive layoffs.
