Pros
Many companies will talk about work life balance. This is the first company I've worked for that actually cares. That doesn't mean everyone logs off at 5pm, but it does mean that if you need more time for things outside of work you can take it and then everyone is always happy to put in a bit more effort on the work side when that is required. With my history of tougher workplaces, I could understand if you don't believe me. So I'd invite you to just DM people working in a similar role at Ravelin on Linkedin and ask for their thoughts, I think that you will be very hard pressed to find someone that doesn't think the same way to a large extent. I've also appreciated the culture of helping each other, everyone is always happy to help with any questions you might have to get acquainted with a new area of the company. This, in combination with the incredibly knowledge, skilled and competent people working at Ravelin, has meant that I've learned a crazy amount since joining this company. So if that's your aim, you're in the right place. I also thinks it's refreshing to work for a company where AI isn't just talk and slides, but it's actually the bread and butter of what it does.
Cons
I see some comments here around pay, from what I've discussed with some colleagues it seems to be market conform. Especially if you link that with the work life balance and other perks like the last Friday of the month off every month. I perhaps might earn more elsewhere, but I'd also probably work an additional 20 hours.
