Pros

Salaries are ok for Spain and the office is modern.

Cons

Same as in many start up that have been bought by a bigger company, all the employees that were there when it happened have been promoted to key roles, and non of them have the skills to lead a fast growing company. They got a lot of free press articles in Spain so the customers were queuing to buy the product, but to prospect new markets you need more than being an order taker. That would not be an issue if these persons were openned to change, but most of them think that they deserved the right to retire already and just stay at home doing nothing, being paid meanwhile they go to the gym or shopping, judging by their response time during the day. Some managers seing their poor results but not having the skills to lead a team micro manage them asking for time consuming unnecessary tasks. If you are a young career sales person looking for mentorship and to grow in a company, that is not the place to go, since you will spend weeks without seeing a manager at the office and all key roles are already taken or reserved for their friends. HR is not a safe place, the best rep got fired only for talking to them in order to know how to have a promotion. And last but not least foreign employees have a 6 month probation, when spanish one only have a 2 month one! That tells everything about the management open minds! Enverus that bought them have the bad habbits of a big company even before being one. Trainings are not applicable to your job, there are tons of meetings without any value for the attendees and they are wasting time with fake values they don't have at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you didn’t have a great experience during your time here. We continuously look for ways to enhance our employees’ and candidates’ experiences. Therefore, we will share this note with the relevant teams. Allow us to clarify that the probation period is tied to the position. Therefore, any differences might be due to the nature of the role and always following the law. We are very mindful of the culture and environment that we create. Equality is one of our core values, and opportunities to grow and be promoted are not discriminatory.

Pros

Working at RatedPower is pretty cool. I've been working here before the Enverus acquisition and afterwards. The culture and corporate values are respected. I feel valued as an employee by everyone —peers, management and leadership. If you perform well, you get rewarded. The work environment is casual but focused. Your quarterly/yearly targets are ambitious but reasonable and achievable. The acquisition improved quite a lot the level of benefits —from almost nothing when I joined the company (startup mode for the win!) to the best benefits I've got in my professional career so far (health, dental, unemployement and life insurance, flexible retribution). This applies to every employee as far as I know. The growth of the company has been steady (ARR growth is healthy) and hiring policy has been reasonable (no massive hirings leading to layoffs afterwards) and attrition has been pretty low historically. Quite a lot of the current employees started years ago as interns and have grown with the company. This is something remarkable to me. Being acquired by a American company (RatedPower is Enverus' largest international acquisition ever) has been an incredible opportunity to learn and foster internationalisation in both orgs.

Cons

Nothing deadly serious here. Enverus does know how to acquire and they have a polished guidebook to do so. However, friction —mostly with systems/platforms/tools— may happen. Folks in the US or Canada are aware of the time difference and try to avoid late meetings. However, there is still room for improvement in async work (rather than synchronous communications).
