Pros
Office space was nice. Had nice holiday get togethers. Offered volunteer opportunities.
Cons
Was not an environment for a working mother. Constantly asked why my child was sick, why my husband couldn't help out, and why it was me always having to stay home when my child was sick. Company looked for young people just out of college. Many would come into work hungover and that was a natural occurrence. Management plays favorites and won't let you move throughout the company unless you are one of them. They spend too much money on parties and vendor relationships. Christmas party had 2 open bars, a 3 course meal, then after that ended 2 party buses that took people to a different bar with an open tab.. So not surprising to hear that base pay was low. During interview process I clearly explained how I would only be able to work 1 hour of overtime, and I would have to have it scheduled. They said no issue, that would be fine! Once I was hired I was told that I wasn't pulling my share as a team member because my co-workers were putting in at least 3 hours of OT per day, and why was I leaving so early? (which was at the end of the normal work day).
