Pros
- I love love love the people I worked with, they are super nice and hardworking.
- Flexible hour
- It was a huge learning curved, I learned a lot
Cons
Background story: I applied for the Product Designer position, got rejected but I offered to work for free as an intern.
- There was no guidance whatsoever: They said I will be working with the CEO for the UX Designer job but, he is wearing too many hats and trying to do too many things at once.
- They are not willing to invest: I been in the company for about a month and they want to do everything in-house to cut cost, but you need to spend money to make money. Also the current team is about half are interns.
- Only want to do it his way: When I worked here I feel like I'm more like a tool rather than a person, they hired me to do what they want rather than what the user wants.
- You are replaceable: They went through several designers before I, since they can always find another person to replace you.
- Intern trap
