Pros
Radar has a great company culture. The people are really supportive, approachable and friendly. Social/team events are a lot of fun. The company is quite flexible to employee needs, like remote working and flexible work hours, and has also made efforts to support local charities and employee mental health. I think managers make the biggest difference in a job and I feel the management at Radar Healthcare is very strong. Despite being a relatively small company, managers at Radar are very knowledgeable and open to sharing feedback. Managers seem to really care about their employees, ask for their input and invest in employees’ personal growth. It’s great to work for a software company that benefits our society by supporting healthcare organisations. With an expanding customer base, I feel positive about the future of Radar!
Cons
The office in Leeds has limited parking which can be a pain, however it is near Leeds train station and most employees have been working remotely during the pandemic. No employee perks, but I have worked for companies that have great perks and terrible management and would choose good management over perks any day. Could improve the pension scheme.
