Pros

- work from home 1 day/week - 35 hour work week - some travel abroad opportunities - modern open-plan office - very low performance expectations for staff - some lovely people across the business

Cons

- no salary reviews (bar annual 1% increase) - no professional training opportunities - limited promotions available, typically for service-length, rather than ability or merit - marketing senior leaders are not skilled in marketing - slow and resistant to change (no best practice) - very negative environment: people frequently crying, others telling you they can't wait to quit - limited line manager training, makes for some very poor people managers - abundant administration processes for every task, yet the business is exceptionally unorganised, and very reactive - clunky outdated tech: systems not integrated, laptops frequently crash and freeze - layer of unskilled management doing very little, not enough staff working on campaigns or tasks - junior teams completely overloaded, limiting campaign creativity, and meaning delivering the basics is a hurdle

Pros

Opportunity for growth within the company, great focus on not only retaining but growing inhouse talent. Tons of different sales roles to apply for. Ability to work remote full time.

Cons

Perhaps not the most competitive salary initially but can easily work your way into one.

Pros

The hybrid work model, I guess?

Cons

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
