      Pros

      Leadership structure was clearly defined, very little micromanaging by superiors. Leadership was strong, dynamic, and had a well-articulated set of values. Work environment/ culture was laid back just enough to make you feel comfortable while striving for excellence. Experience was challenging, rewarding, and not by coincidence.

      Cons

      My understanding was that compensation packages ranged from average to below-industry average. Then again, there is virtually no industry in Kingston, NY aside from service-sector employment, so beggers can't be choosers.

      Pros

      At RUPCO, you know your work has meaning and you know the company is doing what it can to help the less fortunate. Benefits are great: good health insurance, ample paid time off, free life and dental insurance.

      Cons

      Leadership in this company is 50/50. Many leaders are rude, unsupportive, unappreciative, and unprofessional. The wages at this company are sad. Many of the clients the company serves earn a higher wage than the employees serving them. Additionally, the salaries provided often leave employees eligible for assistive social programs/affordable housing which is ironic.
