Pros
The job descriptions seemed interesting and the company presents itself well, which is what initially attracted me to apply. They appear to be serious about vetting candidates.
Cons
Application requires you to take a 129 minute "Virtual Try Out" unpaid in order to submit an application. The biggest issue is the application process itself. Before your application is even considered complete, you are required to take a "Virtual Job Tryout." When you look at the time estimates for various roles, this can add up to over two hours (129 minutes) of mandatory, unpaid testing. This isn't a quick 15-minute personality quiz. It's a significant time commitment that feels disrespectful to the applicant. It essentially asks you to perform hours of work for free, with no guarantee that a human will ever even look at your resume. This process is a huge red flag. It filters out highly qualified people who are currently employed, have family responsibilities, or simply value their own time and won't jump through such demanding hoops so early in the process. It creates a terrible first impression and suggests the company doesn't value its potential employees.
