An organized mess - Yard RONA Employee Review

- Pay - Again basically full-time hours, however you receive no benefits as a 'part-timer'. - The management is terrible at resolving pretty much any issue, not great communicators whatsoever. - Long Term incredible employees that would bend over backwards for customers at all times and trained in multiple departments were incredibly undervalued. Their wages were lower and their hours were worse than most of the lazy staff or uneducated and unknowledgeable kids. Made it very clear that hard work does not pay off there. - The curly-haired woman who worked/(s?) in installs was absolutely useless. She would get frustrated if she had to help at customer service, even though that was also where she was scheduled. Even if there was no one else working at customer service besides her. She was super rude to customers many times, ignored the phone ringing, or pages. She sat and hid at her desk most of the time and you could easily tell it was frustrating for inside employees. - Contract sales employees felt very snooty and rude. Customers constantly told me that they'd rather buy through the regular store/ yard than have to deal with the people in that department. They also all refused to work Saturdays just because they didn't want to, which for contractors was/ is a frustrating experience. My new job gets many old Rona contractors. - Not very organized supervisors besides the woman in sales. - One grumpy employee throws off the atmosphere and they never bother to fix the issue.
