Pros
-Can work anywhere in US -Caregiver coaching model -Neurodivergenct affirming care for clients
Cons
- Structure of communication for fully remote workforce needs improvement as it's top down/email based with no effective channels in place for employees to freely and regularly share authentic feedback/needs. Culture of performative positivity instead of promoting authentic dialogue, engagement, and a healthy and caring remote workforce culture. -When employee experienced personal hardship, little to no support or consideration was extended outside of the legal requirements. No flexibilty given and communication and policies reflected little care for employee experience during challenging time. -Bare minimum disability inclusion practices for employees. Inclusion of employees was always reactive rather than a consideration in planning and not a priority or felt value of company. Communication from leadership regarding disability had often been unprofessional and uncompassionate. In-person retreats shared about without stated accessibility or inclusion considerations and with disregard for equitable access for all employees.
