Pros
I’ve been in the design industry for a little over 30 years now and worked with several design companies around the world. In this review, I have the luxury of comparing RKS to all those other design studios. Over the last couple years we’ve seen a lot of design consultancies sell or go out of businesses. It’s refreshing these days to see a firm like RKS not only survive but thrive for over 35 years. Even though RKS is one of the larger firms around it's still been able to keep a family-like vibe to it instead of feeling more corporate-like. Lance Hussey has been with RKS for over 25 years now and it’s cool to see a design leader like him pushing to make RKS a better firm and building our future design leaders. The consultancy side of design is challenging, tough, fast paced but also a lot of fun and rewarding. RKS is always looking for ways to improve and if you’re looking for a place where you can contribute to making it even better – than I’d take a look at RKS.
Cons
It's hard to point at Cons when you've seen the things I've seen at other studios around the world. Like I said earlier - I've been to a lot of studios and I've seen some extremes over the years. I think RKS has been the coolest one I've been at and hope to see it keeps that going on.
