Pros

You get to work with kids Insurance benefits are pretty standard

Cons

You have to work with kids Company higher ups do not care about employees or employee well being C-levels are out of touch You can easily be scheduled for 9-10 hour days with no breaks. They get around this by saying full time is 35 hours, however you will often be scheduled beyond 35 You must transport clients in your own vehicle. Mileage is paid at $0.51/mile, which is well under the standard $0.71/mile. When this was mentioned to C-levels, we were basically told to stop complaining You must provide your own phone and data plan. There is no stipend or reimbursement for this First week of training is morning but watching videos and is unpaid You have to earn PTO and the taste at which it is accrued is miserable. After working full time with no breaks for two entire months, you earn .75 days off Part time earns no PTO You must earn full time status by working full time hours on part time benefits Degree is required that is absolutely not necessary. Any idiot that passes the training can do the job
