Pros

- Good benefits - Great location and office - Nice colleagues - There is not a lot of work load

Cons

- Sect mentality. - Nice colleagues but take care with the ones who have been working longtime. They will be nice until you will see their "property" threatened. - No clear strategy, project definition, deadlines, etc. Currently they claim to be working on it, but in the strategy pages there are just random tasks without any sense. - Poor poor poor management, they don't have any vision and they don't have any idea how a project/team should be organised. - No a good role definition (they are working in a new project, but it seems the same than the previous one with different wording). At the end managers will interpret the role of their own idea of what the role is. - No development options, neither options to move to another department. Just "friends of" have opportunities (you will become "friend of" if you get easily into the sect mentality).

Many thanks for your review, we are happy to hear you have learnt a lot as an intern. As a company, we find it important to offer learning opportunities for students. Unfortunately, we cannot always hire an intern at the end of the internship. However, when an intern makes a good impression, we will still consider hiring them once they finish with their studies and there is a relevant position advertised.

Pros

Working at RIPE NCC feels meaningful, as the organization has a clear vision of shaping the future of the internet. The work is often challenging but rewarding, providing a sense of purpose and professional growth. A good balance between technical challenges and the lack of excessive commercial pressure. Supportive and inclusive work environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

Cons

The organization structure changes every 2-3 years as management experiments and adjusts. While this is done with good intentions, it can feel slightly unsettling for some. Adaptability is key, as the evolving structure requires employees to stay flexible and open to change.
