Pros

-Mentorship and care from upper management - daily/weekly meetings with management to check in on your performance, how you're feeling about the job, where you need help, etc. -Ability to learn the full-sales cycle from start to finish, time-management, and business professional hard and soft skills very quickly. -Company culture - you're surrounded by like-minded people and co-workers who are similar ages as you; RHM definitely offers an unmatched camaraderie that I lacked when interviewing at other corporations. It's also helpful because you're surrounded by those who have similar goals/motives as you. -Competitive salary/commission structure - they don't lie to you when they say you can make six figures by 23/24 years old. -You're told the expectations and what you need to do in order to succeed and/or get promoted very early on. Generally speaking, there's no surprises. -Fast-paced - your day, weeks, months go by SO fast. -Fun outings with the company/co-workers - baseball games, happy hours, dinners with your team, etc.

Cons

-Long-work hours - this is something they have always been very upfront about from the interview process to actually starting. As a young, naive person entering the work force, you start to believe you won't succeed or get promoted unless you put in 45-50+ hours a week. This isn't necessarily on the company, more on the individual themselves. -Promotions and growth in the company are quick - however they're also subject to how the company/office location/department is doing as a whole. I just wish they'd be way more transparent about someone's timeline to get promoted upfront than say "oh next month!" and then nothing ever changes. -Training and development does stall after your first 13-some-weeks. Unless you're able to pick up the job in 13-weeks, can feel like you're drowning. Just have to vocalize what areas you're struggling in.

Pros

Free coffee and a lesson in what corporate gaslighting looks like. If you want to learn exactly how a modern boiler room works and get decent at handling cold-call rejection, you'll get that. Good for a line on a resume right out of college, but only if you plan on using it as a stepping stone to escape to a real company within 6 months.

Cons

A total bait-and-switch operation targeting desperate recent grads. I was promised a $50k salary + commission during the interview process. The moment I started, that magically devolved into $23/hr, then dropped further to $20/hr. Expect to work 60+ brutal hours a week while only getting paid for 48—straight-up uncompensated overtime labor. The commission structure is completely broken and rigged. Every time you are close to a meaningful commission check, management "audits" the accounts under a microscope just to find a technicality to claw it back so the company can pocket your hard work. High-churn, zero boundaries, and a culture built on micromanagement and empty promises.
