Pros

Good money for the time being. My coworkers were awesome and very knowledgeable!

Cons

Have had two huge layoffs (first round, which I was included in was about 50-60% of company). Second round of layoffs within the next month. I understand layoffs happen in start ups but for months, every single week during our company wide meetings, leadership and the CEO told us “the funding was already in the bank” which was a lie. We were all blindsided bc the lack of honesty and transparency from leadership. It was horrible. No severance. No warning. Apparently they did this in 2020 as well not due to Covid. 2 months later we did get one weeks worth of pay but really the heartbreaking part is their dishonesty and lack of regard for their employees. They mislead all of us. Even management didn’t know what was going on. Don’t trust to work for this company for a while. No one is confident in their ability to retain funds and take care of their employees. Also their benefits package sucked. They didn’t cover anything and very high amounts every paycheck to have benefits.

Pros

The company’s overall goal was great - saving money for consumer and keeping all your home needs under one umbrella to simplify the process.

Cons

Focused too much on lending and insurance opportunities instead of focusing on consumer.
