Pros

Talented and friendly coworkers who are willing to help.

Cons

One woman is the CEO and whatever else she feels like calling herself that day. There is no structure and being good at what's thrown at you is an understatement. No mobility. No benefits, at all. Horrible pay for the amount of work placed on an individual. The company consists of a total of about 5 people (if she's not contracting work out at any given time). 1099 for "6 months" or longer if you let her get away with it. Beware those of you who are either recent graduates, have little to no experience or just in a rut; she preys on these types of people. Micromanaging is her way of showing others who the boss is; unfortunately, this power play will continuously hinder the company from growing. Her business is still afloat because she's gotten lucky with excellent employees and she also has personal relationships with companies who are loyal enough to buy print ads every month. The turnover rate for a 5-man ship is astronomical and from what I gathered (serving 8 months in hell) replacing people continuously doesn't bother her in the least. Steer clear of REDNews if you're looking for an actual job or any type of stability.
