My experience at R2Net was disappointing and disheartening. While the company operates in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, there are serious internal issues that need to be addressed.
Lack of Diversity:
The company has little to no diversity, particularly in leadership and team dynamics. There is an overwhelming preference for Filipino hires, which results in a non-inclusive environment and limited perspectives in decision-making.
Toxic Culture & Poor Management:
Managers consistently give unclear and contradictory directions, only to shift blame onto team members when expectations aren't met. Communication is severely lacking across departments, and there’s very little accountability at the leadership level.
Unstable Employment Practices:
There have been frequent mass terminations, often without valid reasons—regardless of how well someone performed. This creates an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. Many good employees were let go with no explanation, leaving the remaining staff demoralized.
Unfair PTO & Overtime Policies:
If you're unable to make it in due to emergencies or illness, you're forced to use your PTO, even with proper documentation. Overtime during peak seasons is given based on favoritism and, unfortunately, sometimes race. It’s not based on merit or performance, which is incredibly frustrating.
Work-Life Balance is Nonexistent:
The standard shifts are 9 hours long with little flexibility. The work-life balance is severely unbalanced, making it difficult to maintain any kind of healthy lifestyle outside of work.
In summary, R2Net presents itself as a modern, innovative company, but the internal culture and management practices tell a very different story. I would not recommend working here unless serious structural changes are made.
