Pros

Vacation homes for free rent.

Cons

Working at RL Global was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences of my career. From the moment I started, it was clear this company is deeply disorganized, poorly managed, and lacks any real vision for sustainable growth or employee development. Management is completely disconnected from day-to-day operations and seems more focused on micromanaging than actually leading. There’s no structure, no accountability, and zero support for employees trying to do their jobs. You’ll find yourself constantly putting out fires caused by unclear expectations, shifting priorities, and ineffective leadership. The company culture is toxic — cliques, favoritism, and high turnover are the norm. Feedback is either ignored or taken as a threat, and those who raise legitimate concerns are often punished or pushed out. Training is minimal to nonexistent, and any promises made during the hiring process should be taken with a grain of salt. Work-life balance? Forget it. You’re expected to be “always on,” with little regard for boundaries. Burnout is rampant, and the only consistent thing about this place is the feeling of being undervalued and overworked. I would not recommend RL Global to anyone — not as an employee, partner, or client. You deserve better

Pros

Good co-workers that help you along the way.

Cons

After numerous years with this company, it became clear that their new aggressive management style with new leaders and the my way or the highway approach bred a toxic environment too much to withstand. I was a top producer, however having been there before said new leadership, I feel they were partial to their new hires. From not being able to take your accrued PTO, to making up instances as to not wanting to pay commissions already earned, this new management has had an adverse effect on top earners which many have now left. The amount of turnover at this company can only be rivaled by that of McDonald’s. If you’re contemplating employment with R&L, I‘d advise against it. R&L has had good solid high performing employees in the past however within recent years, most have left. If you’re are desperate, work for them at most a year to get some limited logistics experience. Beyond the year, take your experience and move onto a more career focused company that values your employment.
