Pros
Good subsidised canteen. SOME really, really good people amongst the weeds. Good for lab experience but get out as soon as you can.
Cons
- Bullies for seniors/management - Limited career progression - No state-registration, literally anyone off the street could do this job, nothing specialised about it - Very, very toxic culture within lab and specific departments, stemming all the way from management at the top - Blatant favouritism from management, if your face fits you'll be alright Back-stabbing environment, people just want to get one up on you, they don't care about the job -Overworked and underpaid with at least once occasion of secret, underhanded promotions to only certain groups of staff - Overtime expected of you at the drop of a hat. Once in a while is fine but 3-4 times a week is unacceptable.
