Pros

You get to work with some really good and interesting clients. Good for the old portfolio.

Cons

The pay does not always work out so well. It depends how well organised the in-house staff are, how good the training materials/brief are, and how good the training is. Some jobs are really well paid – it's kind of luck of the draw.

Thank you for your feedback. We are continuously working on ways to further improve the Quill Creator Network. We also constantly seek feedback from our Network of content creators on areas where we could improve. In January, we surveyed our Network to gather detailed feedback on all aspects of working with Quill. We are pleased to say we have already implemented changes in a number of these areas with many more scheduled improvements for 2019. All feedback is very valuable to us and we would love to hear more about the areas where you would like to see changes. Please feel free to email us at support@quillcontent.com and a member of our Network team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Pros

There are so many things I love about this place. Recently we've merged with Jellyfish Global and things are going well. Amazing communication with project teams Various types of copywriting Room for growth

Cons

I just haven't seen too many projects launch in the network. Once you've been accepted to a project you're in there and they can bring you on for future projects which is great, but the actual quantity of projects available for my country is low. This is just my personal experience, so it could definitely vary.

Pros

Technically, I was released before actually working with them. So at least I didn't actually waste any real time working for them.

Cons

I took an on-boarding conference call with them, during which they said that I was hired. They told me that my subsequent core skills assessment would be for training purposes. But upon completing the assessment they fired me instead. It would've been nice if they had said that this was not a training exercise but a pass/fail assessment. Further, it would have been nice to know where I failed as they were giving me the ax.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. To be approved as a freelance editor in the Quill Network, an applicant has to successfully pass our editor proficiency test, editor skills test, editor training webinar and core skills test modules. We have checked this internally and can see that you were given written feedback on the results of your core skills test. Unfortunately, we cannot give very in-depth feedback to prospective applicants due to the volume of freelancers in our Network. We’re sorry for any confusion caused during the application process. We’re reviewing our communications for this process to avoid causing any confusion for future applicants. If you’d like to discuss this further or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us on support@quillcontent.com. The Network team will then get back to you as soon as possible.
