Pros
Excellent pay (mileage + stops) and benefits relative to the competition. (401k, vacation, holidays, Teamsters health insurance, paid personal days, etc.) 95% dedicated local work delivering milk to Kroger stores, with some additional out of town runs here and there. Decent and friendly people in the office. Full fleet of 2012 tractors. Employee-owned company with healthy annual profits.
Cons
The shop seems to have trouble keeping good mechanics, which can lead to some issues with equipment during peak demand. Seniority-based dispatch ensures that it takes some time to work up to the top of the food chain. Occasional forced dispatch can extend the work day beyond what was originally scheduled (if someone else breaks down or calls in sick, e.g.)
