Pros

- Remote Work is very flexible. - Recent adoption of A.I. in mainstream media has made the technology easier to sell. - My particular manager treats the company as a place of business and looks to improve our teams business development skills. - Sales Enablement and Sales Engineering team are excellent at providing the SDR team with materials to succeed.

Cons

- Recent shifts in commission structure (multiple times over the past year) have made quota gradually more challenging to receive. - Company emphasis seems to be on rapid SDR team expansion rather than nurturing existing talent. - Senior Directors display inconsistent leadership skills and often fail to honor commitments they make. - There is no path to career advancement for a majority of SDRs. - There’s a notable emphasis from some managers on maintaining an external image to the SDR team, while constantly training with widely-available or repetitive techniques. - Excessive number of <5 minute meetings suggests a lack of trust in the staff. - Certain Account Executives and Directors act condescending toward the SDR team, despite the importance of the two roles working together.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do have very clear metrics and quota attainment that people need to hit and maintain over certain consecutive quarters before a promotion. We pride ourselves on having promotional opportunities within Quartile. In the last year, over 100 of our team members have been promoted. With regards to other feedback, we are constantly improving manager training - we will take this feedback to heart to train on having more efficient team meetings, with agendas and clear metrics. The company is growing rapidly, and you can feel it. Lots of changes and fast paced days but it all feels worth it because the people you're surrounded by are so great.

Pros

A company with many challenges and opportunities for growth, especially in client services. This is not a typical 9-to-5 job clients are quite demanding, and there is significant pressure from leadership around client retention targets as well as upselling products. Direct managers are good overall; most have long-term experience within the company, which helps a lot in day-to-day operations. The company also has a collaborative culture despite the remote environment, everyone is willing to help each other.

Cons

From a Client Services (CS) operations perspective, I feel that leadership sometimes lacks deeper experience in client service. The company has grown very quickly and now serves many different types of clients, from small businesses to enterprise accounts. In some process decisions, there’s a tendency to apply a “one size fits all” approach across all client segments, which is not how service businesses typically operate. Compensation is good however, you are exposed to currency fluctuations with the dollar. In addition, you are responsible for covering your own costs such as internet, health insurance, and accounting. There is also no benefits besides PTO or protection in case of termination
