Pros
The handful of people I met while briefly employed were pleasant and professional. The pay and benefits were competitive.
Cons
My direct leader was not trusting of others and as a result, I was not able to perform my duties without intense frustration. It was rather unfortunate, as I was very excited to work for this company and could have been successful had the reporting structure been different. Having HR report to a finance person is not traditional for a reason...very different functions and very different mindsets. I was essentially given just enough access to systems and information to keep things moving forward but I was hired to drive change and create structure for a very chaotic and dysfunctional department. I left out of frustration. I warned them in advance to my first day that I needed autonomy to perform my duties and was assured that would be the case. But it did not happen.
