Pros

Opportunity to manage an operation as your own business. Flexibility in work schedule. Constantly changing and evolving work environment. Work with an incredible team of co-workers all over the United States who give there all day to day. Opportunity to travel and gain exposure to different aspects of the business at an early stage.

Cons

Operations Management employees are often overworked and underpaid. Stagnation as upper management refuses to invest in growth and R & D to improve short term profitability. Lack of clear career development within the company. Top heavy corporate structure for such a small company.

Pros

Mostly positive office culture, mostly fair treatment of workers.

Cons

Highly unprofessional. Low pay given the amount of knowledge the job takes to do well. Unbelievably nit picky, and all for abysmal pay. I was let go during my two weeks notice by a text from my direct boss' personal phone, with no communication or involvement from HR. I took approved sick leave, and was promised prior to taking it that I could cover it with sick time. I was wrongly informed by my manager that I was onboarded with sick time, and that it was enough to cover the leave I had to take. Upon return, I was told that this was a mistake on their end, and that I was in fact misinformed. This made a big impact on my situation and was not fair for my boss to promise one thing and deliver another. The work is tedious, the pay is abysmal, and the managers unprofessional.
