Pros

Still has good name in industry. Good if you want to god for further education. Good benefits. Gym and Insurance. Pay is bit less but ok. Esp if you are in ECE domain. Not for CSE guys.

Cons

Hyderabad has mostly grunt mindless work. Makes company look like a glorified services company. Very few teams have work which is good for your career enhancement and being put in that team depends mostly on luck. Freshers from the best Indian colleges are put in random projects. Ppl who were good at programming in college are put in teams where minimal technical challenges are there. Team specific training is almost non-existent. Lack of proper documentation about processes. Seniors are happy to just complete their work and don't care about freshers. Either you will be given ridiculous amount of work with no training, or you will be given no work at all many days as seniors are busy in just handling all themselves and don't care about freshers gardual learning growth. Most freshers stay only for 1-2 years because of this messed up work culture. If you are talented and hungry for challenging problems(regardless of hw/sw domain) this is not the place for you. You can search on linkedin how long freshers stay here. Middle managers are mostly incompetent. Zero feedback mechanism from freshers. Any feedback given is just thrown away and not acted upon. You should be very lucky to have a good team/good mentors here.

Pros

Great benefits, the pay is like okay. Some cool reimbursement programs and health centers on campus

Cons

Career progression and culture varies extremely depending on department. Some parts almost set you up for failure and it's difficult to gain new skills. Lots of qualcomm teams are too scared to explore new technologies and migrate to state of the art services and are comfortable in sticking with old technology for familiarity. Also, HR does nothing if a coworker makes you uncomfortable.
