Pros
People that I've worked with over the years, the old work schedule 3 days on 4 days off and vice versa. Job security. Pay gets better over time.
Cons
Management doesn't listen to workers, they whittle away and little benefits that made the company separate from others. We no longer manage from the floor and the bean counters run the company into the ground. The word of new people is taken before any of the veterans word no matter what. New people are more concerned with when their break is instead on concentrating on doing a good job and learning even though they get their breaks.
