Work from home option can't compensate for poor culture - Software Engineer QL2 Employee Review

I really enjoy the people I work with. There are a ton of opportunities to solve fun issues, and bring value.

In the current state of my specific department, I don't have a mentor/someone to specifically give feedback to grow in my career.

Good pay and company paid benefits but leadership/owners do not know what they are doing with a software company.

Software had been stagnant for many years and needs updating. Unexpected layoffs and reorganization. Realized their mistakes in letting go of the employees that kept everything running and tried to get some employees back. Poor decision making.
