Pros

They are decently understanding about flextime and adjusting your schedule as needed. The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

If you need a textbook example of insecure, toxic, and/or inept management, look no further than Q3. They micromanage their employees while simultaneously not providing the necessary resources or tools for their employees to succeed. Management will pretend to listen to your concerns and act like they're going to do something about it, and then things continue to get worse. Upper management does not understand their employees' jobs, and yet they're the ones who get to make decisions about how those jobs should be done. When employees question why changes are being made or dare to suggest that a decision is not good, they are basically told to shut up and step into line. Management here is even worse if you have a disability. They are extremely resistant to accommodations and only cover the legal bare minimum - and that's AFTER making employees jump through all kinds of hoops to get those accommodations. Management will expect their employees to remain kind and civil on the phones while customers call in and berate and yell at the employees. Management also forces their employees to come into the office multiple days a week, although jobs can be performed just as well (and usually more efficiently) from home. They moved the office half an hour away from its original location and have not had even an ounce of sympathy for those who now have an impossibly long commute. Employees are expected to just figure it out and get to work without complaining. Management will promise that there are opportunities for growth, and then even on the rare occasion that an opportunity does open, management will block progress and withhold the tools you need to make yourself more eligible for a promotion. Seriously, you do not want to work here.

Pros

People were nice. The office was quiet.

Cons

Where to start, The training involved reading terms in their convoluted manuals for 3 weeks. We did not get computers or proper software until a week after starting on the floor. Design involves at least a 32 step process but no guarantees that it won't be rejected because the parts required changed or a QC person has different standards. The process and system are inconsistent and you are not trained to work through it. Management is a complete fiasco with their "leadership" consisting of ....We are not meeting deadlines so work harder or get fired etc. You are micro managed down to 15 minute increments and there is nothing but negative reinforcement. Your job depends on 1 metric and achieving that metric is unrealistic due to all the admin you have to do with customers, documentation, etc. You are told they want to set you up for success but no programs are put into place. Management is completely out of touch and it looks like one of them likes to do coke at lunch. In the time I was there they lost between 12 and 16 people. Not the 2 weeks notice type of departure but an employee walking into the office and quitting without notice. It is a high stress low pay environment ($23/hr) with no benefits.
