Pros

PG is the perfect place to stat, if you find a gym that will nurture you and yoru business.

Cons

Finding said gym is a tall order. Don't give up. Feel free to move around and try different teams. Be adventurous. You'r elikely only just beginning yoru career if you're only now looking at PG. You're either a life or a sixer... 6 month or many years. Good luck, all the way from a successful emigration to Australia, 80% of which is thanks to PG Shiprow. Career opportunities are truly limited only by yourself. Don't be a sheep and don't close your eyes and wish for better. Go and make something of yourself and stop taking selfies on IG. Culture and values - I'm ambivalent to this comment because I feel that PG at the top end has the best of intentions, but implementation is done through PTs-come-managers and they're not exactly management material, on the most part. There are a few very good eggs, however, and I sorely miss them. Diversity and inclusion - I've never been anywhere more inclusive than in PureGym. If I could setup my own franchise here in Australia, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Senior management showed continual improvement throughout my tenure.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
