Pros

Management - Consistently helping you get better at your job, while also giving off a laid back business vibe Coworkers - Most coworkers are also college-aged kids that need a job. Everyone is very social and available on a personal level in terms of not just being you coworker, but also your friend. Members - Very personable. They love to get to know you, and are great connections for future endeavors

Cons

The strict dress code is the only con for this job. You MUST wear black and white ONLY! not off-white, not shades of grey, not khaki. BLACK AND WHITE. However, on the last Wednesday of every month, we can wear normal clothes, as long as we are also wearing a Pure Austin T-Shirt. (This was taken out recently, but Management has said it will come back soon)

Pros

Pure Austin locally owned -- amazing place to work. Vibe was right on, everyone loved working here.

Cons

Parking? It's crowded downtown at night.

Pros

Warm and welcoming staff, it was a really nice uplifting atmosphere for someone who was concurrently studying. Management was generally understanding of school requirements, as long as you were able to get your shift covered. If you have the working & personal time to dedicate to this job, it will be a great opportunity if you're interested in the health and fitness field.

Cons

Unequal workload balance and unequal advancement opportunities depending on your scheduled shift. Morning shift is generally quiet so there are limited opportunities to make a sale. There was also a huge emphasis on being a team. Similarly if you were unable to join in on team activities due to school/personal reasons, you were slightly the outcast. It was evident from the beginning that the staff was very clique-based.
