Pros

Really fun company to work at with lots of variety - worked on a range of integrated marketing campaigns and there's lots of opportunity to travel Lovely mid level management and lower level team - everyone on my level and just above me was brilliant to work with. The directors and senior management were the issue. New CEO seems great (old one was literally abusive) but not sure why he allows such an unethical and direction-less senior management team to keep going.

Cons

Marketing strategy completely mismatches the reality of the product so marketing team are essentially expected to promote inaccuracies then blamed when customers are disappointed with being tricked Senior management build a culture of fear instead of using actual leadership strategies. I was literally pulled into a meeting and told two of my friends had been fired/put on performance review and I would be too if I didn't embrace extra responsibilities and this was the first instance of being told there was a problem. People are fired all the time. Diversity at the company is also horrendous and there is a racist culture.

Pros

The product itself is interesting in how it promotes sexual openness and inclusion, which is refreshing compared to more traditional dating platforms. However, its business model feels somewhat unethical — men pay to access women who are presented as open to casual encounters, but the reverse dynamic is rare. In practice, it often feels like women are positioned more as the product than equal participants. On the positive side, the company offered attractive monthly payments and I had the chance to work with kind and supportive colleagues.

Cons

I worked at Pure App in Customer Support. Unfortunately, my experience was marked by several operational and communication issues that made the role more difficult than it needed to be. The training was poorly structured, and there was a lack of clear onboarding or documentation. Most information was stored in an outdated Excel file, and there was no clear process to follow when technical bugs or platform issues occurred — which happened frequently. Communication within the team was difficult. Instructions were often abrupt and unclear, and when asking for clarification, responses were either unhelpful or hostile. There were no regular 1:1 meetings or feedback loops, and expectations around the role were not clearly defined. Additionally, the support volume was high, and a large portion of cases came in Russian or similar languages, requiring constant translation without proper context — making it hard to be confident in the accuracy of responses. Finally, the person in charge of the support team had very limited English skills, making it even more challenging to understand priorities or objectives. There is potential in the company, but serious improvements in communication, training, and internal organization are needed to support the team effectively.

Pros

Product is awesome. All processes are set up. Team is good, all people inside are cool and open-minded.

Cons

Company was sold to investors, who change top management, layoff about 15 people from the previous team. Stopped improving product, all changes are about monetization.
