Pros
Hard and hot work but the crew makes it worthwhile. Foreman grinds with us in the heat, doesn't just sit in the ac all day like some do at other jobs. Supervisor is a good person. You work good and they have your back. Paid CDL training if you don't have one. Judge has done a lot for us during his tenure. Thankful for the raises and three day weekend.
Cons
Need more pickup trucks. Uniforms don't breath in the heat. No spouse on insurance. A lot of rushing to get things done. Getting the material, equipment, signs, etc to the site and setup takes time especially when we're far away. 10 hours goes by quick but we need every minute of it.
