Pros

Absolutely nothing is good about this place.

Cons

The pay is not great. You are expected to see 20-30 people a day!! 20 minute vists for follow up and 40 minute for new. You are constantly rushed, yelled at and belittled on a daily basis by patients and management. They fill out paperwork for patients as long as they pay their 150-300 fee even if provider disagrees. Had to work in a building with no AC for a while and the owner refused to even get us a fan. Hires people from out of the country for scheduling to try and save money. Owner expects everyone to be available 24/7. There is no personal life with this place. Owner does not care about patients or staff just how to make a quick buck. Really sad and pathetic. Good luck trying to take time off. They also try and not give your full PTO hours. Checked mine and they were o ly giving me part of what was owed. Slimy creeps!!

Pros

I am a big fan of the opportunities for growth and the level of clinical independence that comes with PsychPlus. I like flexibility with scheduling and ability to set your own working hours. The team is very supportive and works hard to answer clinical questions quickly. Although we are all working virtual and nationwide, the company has an "open door policy" throughout which extends from colleagues, to managers, to executives. I like the simplicity of charting through Galaxy and knowing that the team is constantly working to improve processes for both providers and staff.

Cons

At times there can be system glitches, but software team works hard to fix any issues in real time.

Pros

The company mission is inspiring, which is the number reason for why I joined. I had the impression given the company's focus on mental health, the internal culture would be a healthy and supportive place to work. That's not the case, read on under the cons..

Cons

Over the years there has been a large push for growth with high volume acquisitions of several clinics and the UK company last year which should point to what should be a successful blueprint to making mental healthcare accessible to all. Sadly, in my years of working here I have seen several concerns this business isn't operating in a healthy and legal manner. There is high turnover and lack of interest in growth and retaining great talent. The volume of clinic acquisitions without a proper process to integrate teams, processes and development. The people who leave are the smart ones who see the mess and sprint fast out of here. I don't see how we are making money and profitable and recently seeing we've filed bankruptcy is proof of it. The CEO and his two trusted leaders, the CCO and COO all lead with an abusive and toxic leadership style. They talk down to their team, publicly shame people, write off bad performance without investing in helping people improve. You will learn A LOT here, and the most important lessons will be in how NOT to lead with an abusive and toxic mindset.
