Sometimes I wish my fellow engineers would be willing to experiment more

company is primarily remote which many employees appreciate i think. most depts stick to themselves

you'll see a lot of effort put into brainstorming and planning improvements but almost none of it becomes reality. the CEO has the final say on everything so most ideas get stuck there. compensation is also handled in a very “favorites only” way. eventually people just stop raising their hand because they know nothing will come from it
