Pros
Provi is easily one of the most awesome startups in America’s most cultured city, Chicago. It’s like if my fraternity at Northwestern all decided to disrupt the totally ancient and loathsome industry that is beverage alcohol. Some of these distributors don’t even sell Tito’s!! I mean, duh! The CEO is the coolest. He’s like if Mark Zuckerberg decided to copy smart beverage industry people instead of the Winklevoss twins. I never talked to him, but I stood close to him at our annual company get together where we all got two free beers and I could tell this guy could slay the beer pong table. Another plus is the high turnover with managers so there’s not much pressure to perform and lots of time to look at DraftKings and check my stock portfolio.
Cons
Not too many cons here other than having to deal with some snobby clients who think they know more about the beverage industry than us. There’s a reason Provi is referred to as a rocket ship and that’s because we’re legendary disruptors! A bunch of people were laid off recently from a company we acquired that I never heard of, but honestly I don’t think any of them really understood how to disrupt the industry either. Dudes, don’t believe the hype and jump on this rocket ship with us!
