Pros

It is like boot camp for wedding photographers/videographers. You get longer hours and less pay than other companies (300/ 8 hr day vs. 500/ 6 hr day for shooters). The work is steady, making up for lower compensation with greater volume. If there is a complaint from a customer, they are in your corner when you can support your position and don't penalize you for first mistakes.

Cons

They work on razor thin profit margins, offering services at the lowest possible pricing point. They depend on volume and containing costs for profit. They nickel and dime you on travel expenses - no compensation for driving 50 miles each way to a job, and minimal above that, doesn't even pay for gas, much less wear and tear on vehicle. Considering expenses and depreciation on all the gear I have to buy, my take home is 2/3 of my pay. Haven't gotten a raise in the many years on the job.

Pros

Great personal relationships with management. Easy relaxed environment.

Cons

Horrible pay- empty promises. Senior reps are treated as if they are new. Management favors new reps. Need to pay more. Absolutely no room to grow. No loyalty to tenured reps

Pros

Flexibility, day job, creative, artistic

Cons

Disregard for employees and their worth to the company as a whole. Pay is trash. And they expect for you to be elated at the fact that it’s below industry standard for shoot and deliver contract work.
