Pros

What I've enjoyed most about being at Propel is the level of clarity around the work that needs to be done. We are on a mission to revolutionize how physical products are delivered to the market. At the individual, team, and company level, I feel confident that we're going in the right direction. My specific workload, for example, was laid out clearly in my interview and there have been no surprises since. I find the environment trusting, empowering, and flexible, which is exactly what I was looking for. We also have strong and transparent leadership across the executive team. Even with the momentum and pressure to perform, they have maintained an "employee first" attitude. The investments being made in the customer-facing side of the business also speaks to their priorities. We are well positioned to take this industry by storm.

Cons

Propel is growing quickly, which is awesome! But this also comes with unexpected blindspots around project management and ownership, which is nothing out of the norm. Good news is steps are being taken to ensure we can all execute and collaborate more successfully.

Pros

Propel really cares about its employees and its customers. One of their core values is delighting customers and I have never been somewhere that is so customer-focused. It's a breath of fresh air.

Cons

Not much! I have really enjoyed my time so far. The products sold are complicated if you have not come from a PLM background so it does take some time to get oriented.

Pros

+ I enjoyed working with a group of wonderful people who are smart, have great working ethics, and are supportive of my career growth. + Propel is a good place to explore career paths by taking on different responsibilities or for some, building a career in the Salesforce ecosystem. + Having a highly-collaborative environment by working with cross-functional teams and the management team. + You get to define and contribute to the company culture. + The management team takes the time and effort to show appreciations to their teams. + The office located next to the beautiful Santa Clara University campus where you get to take a break in its beautiful gardens, take a nap in the quiet, historical church, or picnic with the squirrels on the green grass. + The office is in a walking distance to the Caltrain station. There are also plenty of free parkings by the office building.

Cons

+ Everything is extremely organic and is constantly changing. You just need to be agile and be comfortable with working with a blank canvas. Then again, this is normal for a startup. I enjoyed this type of environment but can be challenging for some. + “Unlimited time off” can be subjective to the individuals in the management team, which is a common phenomenon in startups.
