Pros

The offices are in an awesome location.

Cons

The Owner, Derek Evans, is an aggressive and unstable "leader". He often lashed out at his employees, calling them names and verbally attacking their character in what I can only describe as a desperate attempt to assert his dominance. For example, during an event Project 615 was hosting, he got so frustrated that he stormed over to a bus that was being unloaded and set up, barked an order at his employees and then proceeded to slam the door shut and then slam his hand on the side of the bus in a fit of rage. The scene was so loud a police officer walked up to the employees and asked if they needed him to step in. He preaches to "spread love" and "love your neighbor" but the harsh reality is that behind the scenes of Project 615 is a workplace of oppression, dishonesty and false marketing.

Pros

The people are top notch! The pay is ok but it's retail and it was a part time gig for me.

Cons

The hours weren't great but I knew that going in.

Pros

Everyone that works or has worked at Project 615 (outside of the owner) are genuinely wonderful human beings that are striving to make the world a better place. I met GREAT people here, all of which have moved on from this terrible company.

Cons

Project 615 has great potential that it will never realize as long as the owner, Derek Evans, is at the helm. He uses the mission-oriented fundraising model that 615 boasts about to build personal clout while simultaneously berating and demeaning every single person on his staff. He holds meetings on how to improve as a company and person, and then a few days later is in someones' face about nothing. I've personally seen the owner get in shouting matches with employees to the point where physical violence seemed imminent. He's acted out and thrown tantrums at 615-hosted events several times, once so vehemently that an officer intervened. I write all this with the hope that I can save even one person from experiencing this company's dirty secret, RUN in the other direction. You don't have to work at Project 615 to "Spread Love the Nashville Way™".
