Pros

Warm, supportive colleagues who deserve better

Everything that is bad about this company is related to management and office managers. They don´t listen, don´t understand and don´t care. They don´t trust the employees, check-in/out system every time you leave your desk, you are being watched anywhere you go (even in the restroom), and eavesdropped on (they listen behind the doors when you talk because they have nothing better to do). You´d think that as a developer what matters is productivity and ideas but in this company what matters is just that everyone does their 8 hrs a day, no home office, no benefits and no right to complain about anything. The quality is not appreciated but disregarded. They have a weird lack in sense of values. Proud and conceited, they do not care about anything except their reputation but unfortunately they lack the intelligence to improve it by making their people stay. They don´t care to improve the work conditions, which are really basic and to some point inhumane (you work in a grey, dark, cold place, with linoleum on the floor - except for management -, broken coffee machine, broken microwave, no heating in the restroom and no hot water at the sink). Two-faced people with horrible characters and absolutely lacking in professionalism. No freedom of speech and of action.

Pros

I've been with them for almost a year now and I can truly say the best thing about this company (as it should always be for every company) is the team of young, passionate, smart and innovative people. They made me feel like I'm part of a family (the Profitap one) from my very first day. Other huge points are their GREAT products/solutions in which I sincerely believe and that's essential for me as a marketer.

Cons

Is not all perfect, as everyone can imagine, there are ups and downs, but they are going in the right direction. If you are a fit for the team, you will feel right at home from the start. For me, maybe the hardest part (this is not necessarily an argument against) was all that technical information I had to learn when I first started working there. And it was a lot. But it got better afterward.

Pros

Young, Located in HTC, English speaking.

Cons

Overcontrol, lack of management, lack of organisation, messy projects where no deadlines are defined and sudden rushes come from one day to another. However, the biggest disadvantage is the lack of understanding of most of the management staff and the employee policies are quite poor or are not even defined, there is a really low empathy in this company. It seems they wanna enforce a system based in the early 80s, really old fashioned policies compared to any other dutch companies. Forget about remote work, pension and many other advantages. minimum holidays in NL; Take care with asking leaves. Watch-out your working hours, they are always under control.
